Trisha is the perfect foil to most heroes; she has teamed with virtually all of the young generation of heroes, and it is hard to distinguish her roles from any of the movies (until 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya', of course).
But the star status of Trisha is unquestioned: She can command a price for the simple reason that she can stand up to the top heroes in terms of sheer charm. Don't trust her to act - she is not expected to; she is the proverbial pretty face that drives mainstream cinema with all its formula.
